This is the third in the Timmy Quinn series and I enjoyed it as much as I did the previous two. It’s an unusual concept but one that works well. Tim is a great character and the horror he feels deep inside is portrayed well. There is mystery threaded through the story along with the horror, and a touch of romance to even things out (a little!) This is a series I have no hesitation in recommending.

Very good book..longing for the next one. I can't believe I got so hooked on this series. I will continue to read books from this wonderful author. It keeps you guessing..now what is going to happen can't stop reading now. How will this baby affect the lives of Tim and Kim.
The first book in the series was a little odd for me, but I enjoyed the writing style. The second book I thought was was awesome, it was engaging and fun to read. This one started out pretty good, but I felt that the story line towards the end was a bit too much for me.
Great series. Timmy Quinn is a believable character who has been "blessed" with a not-so-great gift. These books are a fast read, suspenseful, and make you want to get to the next one. Watch out Stephen King.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the books have been published in an overlapping manner so I find I have purchased the same material multiple times...a bit irritating.
Timmy Quinn is almost convinced that he can never escape the torture, but is willing to try anything for even a few moments of peace. Escape for Timmy, however, comes with a great price, and his return to Ireland places him in an isolated area that could just as easily be a small town anywhere, where it is impossible to remain invisible if you are an outsider. Timmy's innate "gift" drives him to once again search out the truth, and the depiction of the conflict inside Timmy and the conflicts that occur all around him make for an enjoyable read.
Timmy Quinn is back again with another soul to help he sees the dead and they need his help to put things right. Hes older now and has matters to sort out closer to home and dreams to understand love this series hope there will be full novel soon. Kealan is good writer and really has way to describe things.
"Life was but a cocoon, he knew, but sometimes rather than becoming a creature of beauty and light, the silken butterfly emerged malformed, a withered, crooked thing, trapped in a bell jar waiting to be let out, waiting to hurt those responsible for its condition."
I got this book because it looked interesting and it was free. Wow!!!! What a ride. it was a book I could not put down and then to find there was a book 2, 3, and 4. To think I might have never heard of this book without my . I just do not spend enough time in bookstores. So far 4 other members of my family have read the series and we are all eagerly awaiting the final chapter in book 5. Kealan knows how to put a twist in a book and did he ever twist it in book 4. Cant wait for book 5 to see where everything goes. If you want a series that keeps getting better and better with each book, do not hesitate to download the Turtle boy series.

I thought "The Turtle Boy" was riveting, and "The Hides" was terrifying, but this one-hurts. Emotionally wrenching, heart-breaking, "Vessels" just ripped the heart out of my metaphoric chest cavity. Poor Timmy Quinn literally, he can run, but he cannot hide. The dead are everywhere; and not only that, but every locale seems to hold dead who passed untimely, by means either their own or someone else, who must appear to Timmy and urge him to be the vessel of their passage into this plane to seek retribution. I expected that the final installment of the Timmy Quinn stories, "Nemesis," would be the heartbreaker-but no, it is this one.
